Campaigners Decommission To Stop Supply Of Weapon Systems Israel

More than 1400 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces between December 27th and January18th, more than 400 of which were children. They deliberately targeted individuals in their homes, schools, hospitals as well as U.N compounds.
EDO MBM make vital components for the Paveway munitions, and bomb release clips for F15 and F16 fighter aircraft and have contracts with the Israeli Military

EDO MBM Have been told every week for the last five years to clean their act up but refused to listen. When Israel committed atrocities in Lebanon activist went as far as concreting themselves to the gate’s of the factory.
On Friday Brighton and Hove City Council refused to allow the tabling of a motion by a number of councilors that would have condemned the presence of EDO MBM in Brighton and its supply of components to Israel currently being used in Gaza. The grounds for the refusal were that the motion was ‘not relevant to the wellbeing of the city of Brighton and Hove’. The much acclaimed democratic process was once again tripped up at the first hurdle in the interests of corporate profits.
Elijah Smith stated before entering the factory “i don’t feel i’m going to do anything illegal tonight. I’m going to smash this arms factory so that it cannot actually work to produce parts for the bombs that are provided to the Israeli army which is killing children. The time for talking has gone”
Just a few hours later six ordinary people took that process into their own hands for the well-being of those in Gaza where governments and international law have failed to act.
Det Ch Insp Graham Pratt said: “Windows had been smashed and offices turned over in what I would describe as wanton vandalism, but with machinery and equipment so targeted that it could have been done with a view of bringing business to a standstill”.
Current estimates of the damage caused to ITT/EDO MBM on the 17th of january stand at £350,000 pounds, and some claim that this is likely to rise.
“I believed our actions were justified in a world where the profits of corporations seems to be put before the lives of Palestinian children. I only wish I had acted earlier and caused more damage” Says Tom Woodhead a decommissioner. “Under European law, EDO MBM and the UK government could be charged with assisting in the perpetuation of war crimes in the occupied territories”.
“If you hear the sound of a child being brutalised in the house next door and you rush in to smash the door down and save the child, should you be charged with breaking and entering? Obviously not.” Wrote Eamonn McCann of the Raytheon 9.
Nine people have been charged with Criminal Damage, and conspiracy to cause criminal damage, they have put their freedom on the line and they need your support, especially the Elijah Smith still on remand.

Exellent. I don’t understand what the legal problem is. A society which depends on genocide,(if we don’t accept the zionasty definition of genocide), to exist, has no right to exist, beyond whatever the grace of its victims allows it to. That means also, no right to defend itself, with more killing of people for being what they are, in terms of race, religion, ethnicity, or culture. So depriving it of the murder weapons and torture equipment, has to be not only moral, but also, surely legal. Unless of course, the law is proved to be corrupt, and therefore, illegal

Will it be better for Elijah to be the Bristol nick ?

Dear Nasser
not sure whether others have replied but I can confirm that people in Bristol can visit him which is very important for all prisoners. We are not sure why he was moved, authorities say security. he does have a case in a local court to be heard soon so maybe its that, this was linked to the rooftop protest at The Business Park in Bristol. See smashraytheon web site. Check out amnesty website for very up to date investigation/report on arms delivered to Israel and Hammas by external suppliers. bob
